My Tree and Me: A Book of Seasons
As the seasons change, so does her tree, but this doesn't interfere with their friendship. Instead, their activities change. In winter, the tree is bare so she lends him her scarf. In spring, she swings from her tree's branches. In summer, she likes to have a picnic with her animal friends in the shade of her tree. In fall, she likes to nap under her tree. The tree also smells different with each season and she loves it.
MY TREE AND ME is about friendship along with teaching about the different seasons. I like how the circles get smaller and smaller so you can see all the different colors the tree goes through on the cover. I love how many activities the girl can do with her tree and it might also inspire a child to play outside more.
Final Verdict: This is a cute story for children who love nature and who love all of the different seasons.
