The Littlest Reindeer
Dot may be the littlest reindeer in the North Pole, but she has a big desire to help Santa pull his sleigh! But Dot just can't seem to fly the right way, no matter how hard she runs, leaps, and kicks. Will Dot learn to fly, or is the littlest reindeer just too little?
Dot may not be able to fly, run, or jump, but she can make a snowman, play tag, make Christmas cards, and even help others. Dot realizes there's a lot she can do even though she can't help fly the sleigh yet. But when a gift gets left behind, it's up to Dot to save the day (or someone's Christmas I should say).
I thought the illustrations were so cute and I loved how the story had a good moral. It teaches that just because you can't do something, doesn't mean you're weak or too small. There's plenty of other things one can achieve. I also really liked how her family tries to help her learn to fly the sleigh.
Final Verdict: This read is perfect for children who love reindeer, especially during Christmas time. I look forward to reading this one with my little girl on Christmas Eve. It was a light and enjoyable read with a good message.
