A Summer to Die
I really liked this book and the relationships that were shown through the sisters Molly and Meg. I am an only child but this book made me feel like I could understand and sympathize for both characters and I loved being able to see how the relationship changed through the book.
A Summer to Die is about two sisters. One is older and prettier. The other is average. They fight some, but the bad thing is the prettier one gets sick, and just the night before they had a bad fight! The girl who gets sick is rushed to the hospital. Even though not as pretty, her sister still loves her! And helps her so much through this. Will the prettier girl die? Read and find out!!
this book was just sitting in my bookcase. I always passed right over it because it was so short. but one night i was really tired and just grabbed the shortest book i could find. an easy read you might say. well i read this book all nigh long. a total of 2 times in one night. it caught hold of my attention and my heart and never let go. it was horribly sad and extremely tragic, but it was in the same way uplifting. it tells a story a a girl and her dying sister..... if someone makes the mistake of passing this book up. it will be a horrible mistake...,
This book is great. It tells the true way that sisters live together. This beautiful book teaches a lesson to all sisters to treat thier sister/s better. Who knows what might happen.Read it. This is a very touching book.
I loved this book because it was truly touching. It is about 2 sisters: One sister, the older one, seems perfect in every way...a steady boyfriend who loves her, great grades, and a beautiful face and body. Her otehr sister however, seems awkward and clumsy. Her grades are slipping while she hides in her sister's shadow. Later, the reader realizes that the older sister is diagnosed with leukemia. This throws all the people who love her into a spiral. Her well-known, beautiful, hair is lost and she looks frail and un-lively. This is a sad story about the love of 2 sisters through difficult times. Before the older one was diagnosed, the fought all the time. But when she dies, you see how much her sister truly loved her, no matter how much they fought. I highly recommend this book.
