The Berenstain Bears discover the true power of lending a helping paw in this exciting addition to the classic New York Times bestselling series. When Brother, Sister, and Honey Bear pretend to be their favorite superhero characters, the whole neighborhood joins in on the game. It’s fun to fight evildoers, but when a young neighbor falls off his bike, the Bear siblings get to be real-life heroes! The Berenstain Bears Are SuperBears! is a Level One I Can Read book, which means it’s perfect for children learning to sound out words and sentences.

The Berenstain Bears Are SuperBears is a timeless classic for all readers. As with the rest of the I Can Read! series of books, SuperBears holds the perfect balance of sight words for your early readers to more challenging vocabulary that encourages growth.

Since this is a Level 1 Beginning Reading book, I read this with my kindergartner and he loved it. We have read this several times now. The illustrations are engaging and full of lively colors that wrap you in a warm blanket and make you smile.

SuperBears includes a wonderful story about helping those in need, being a hero. The three SuperBears travel their neighborhood and stop various villains from performing their heinous deeds. When a young cub is in need of real help, the SuperBears find the value of being a true hero.

Even though The Berenstain Bears Are SuperBears has a strong hero vibe, both boys and girls can enjoy this book. Combining teamwork, imagination, and an adventurous heart makes this an excellent addition to all early reader libraries.
