The Exiles at Home
The four Conway sisters from "The Exiles" are back, proving that they can get in all sorts of trouble even without Big Grandma. When oldest sister Ruth decides to sponser the education of a poor Africa boy (illegally, since she's only 18-- she filled out the form while in a feverish, coming-down-with-chicken-pox state), she has to figure out a way to come up with ten pounds each month. With her three younger sisters to help, they're never at a loss for money-making schemes, including sidewalk art, selling hairy sandwiches, teaching bad habits to their baby-sitting charge (so they'll be needed more often), and robbing the post office.
"The Exiles at Home" provides just as many laughs as its predecessor, and also deals with a more heart-warming topic (the girls' friendship with two elderly neighbors) in a wonderful way. Highly recommended.
