Lots of good play-by-plays of close games, a really fun, spunky love interest, and realistic problems make this new title by a trusted sports author one that will fly off the library shelves. It is hard to find ANY books for teens about basketball, and many boys will read nothing else. Lupica is a go-to author for a solid sports story. The cover alone will cause boys to pick this up, and I don't think they will be disappointed.
