The Claidi Journals: Wolf Tower
As I am reading more and more books as of late I wouldn't say that this
series is my favorite, however, I would say that it is well written and
If you like a lot of magic in your books, it might not be for
you. There is some but not comparable to the likes of the Potter
Series, Gemma Doyle Trilogy, Mortal Instruments etc.
There are some great twists and turns and a few different takes on love that I did enjoy a lot.
I however, don't know if I would read it again....we'll see. It's more for a younger audience, I woulds say pre-teen.
Claidi is a servant girl, forced to serve a horrible mistress. She has no hope for anything more than the life she was born into. One day, something miraculous happens! A strange man named Nemian comes to the house( The place she has to work at). Suddenly she is told she is a princess and she has to leave the house and go into the vast world beyond. This is one of my favorite books! It is a truly unique and suspenseful read
Claidi is a young maid to a harsh lady. But when an air balloonis, Nemian, is shot out of the sky and help prisoner, Claidi helps him escape and travels with him into the "waste." She meets Argul, a handsome bandit-leader. But Nemian asks her to keep traveling with him to his home. But it turns out, Nemian only took her home because his grandmother needed an heir. The crazy grandmother tries to train Claidi to read and proclaim the "law" but Claidi thinks it's completely mad. Will she escape from Nemian and his grandmother? And if she does, where will she go?
