This book was a very interesting book. I loved how exciting it was during reading the middle of the book. There was no bad parts in the book. I expesially loved the end of the book. It was a little nasty though when Mr.Grimes skinned Braid though.

This book is so exciting! It's about a boy who ic captured by Indians and rescued by a trapper. Then Francis, the boy, had many wonderful adventures with the trapper, Mr. Grimes. One such adventure was when Francis had to wrestle an Indian boy in another village for a prize. The prize was a valuable pony. With a surprise neck hold, Francis won the match.
