Fireheart could hear a roaring around him, like wind in tall trees. The acrid stench of the Thunderpath stung his nostrils, together with a new smell, sharper and more terrifying. Fire!

Book Two of WARRIORS continues Fireheart's quest to be a true warrior, when he finds new danger lurking in the woods as the chill of winter sets in.

WindClan is missing, and hostilities between the remaining three clans place all the cats in peril. Illness and tragic accidents weaken the camp, and ThunderClan needs all its warriors to defent itself - but Fireheart suspects that certain cats may not be as loyal as they appear.

This book is recommended by me to people who love shifting friendships, suspense, adventure, beginning of love, and of course, cats, the stars of these books.

In Fire and ice, Fireheart's friend Graystripe has fallen in love with Silverstream, the daughter of Riverclan's clan leader, things could not get worse for Fireheart. He must now deal with Graystripe's loyalty, and try to cover up for him, putting Fireheart deeper into the mess Graystripe has made.

Fire and Ice deals with issues of ever changing friendships, and the problem with growing up. But the cats are still warriors at heart, and that will never change, but that might not be enough.

Fireheart and Graystripe are now official warriors of ThunderClan. ShadowClan drove away WindClan for their territory in the first book and now Fireheart and Graystripe are out to bring them home. They also delve deeper into a mystery that might be better off left alone.

This book was really great. There was a lot of cool scenes that the authors wrote really well. It was a very satisfying continuation of the series.

This new adventure involves two cats, the newly dubbed warriors of ThunderClan, Fireheart and Graystripe who are very good friends, a dangerus mystery and forbidden love. They need to find another clan called WindClan and bring them back because they were driven away by a rival clan (ShadowClan). Fireheart and Graystripe also find new information involving a mystery that they start to solve. Graystripe has also fallen in love with a RiverClan cat. What will happen to the WindClan cats? Will Fireheart and Graystripe figure out the mystery? Will Graystripe's forbidden love be found out?

Firepaw and his friend, Graypaw are now warriors with new names: Fireheart and Graystripe. They are sent to find and bring WindClan home. Firepaw and Graystripe also continue unraveling a dark mystery surrounding certain cats in the ThunderClan. More trouble is stirred up and other problems must also be delt with. Will the cats be able to handle it? And will the mysteries be solved?

Those interested in this book should read Into the Wild first, as this story might be hard to follow without reading the first book in the Warriors series.
