When I received this Bible in the mail to review, I had no idea anything like it exists. I was so excited to share this book with my children. The blue Bible is designed for children 4 and up while the green one is designed for 8 and up. With great Bible stories included, a young child can actually make this Bible their very own by drawing pictures to go along with the stories. For example; the very first story is God's creation. So, the children are supposed to draw clouds, rivers, and lakes to finish the scene (the scenes are started for them). Towards the end of the book, they even get to complete the manger scene with baby Jesus!
This book is delightful and great for road trips or a lazy rainy day. What a great way to bring a family together! An adult can even help the child draw the pictures or lead them in the right direction as to what to draw. And what an adorable keepsake for the later years! Zondervan and Zonderkidz just keeps surprising me with their wonderful Bible adaptations for children and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
Good Points
Helps a child be creative while learning Bible stories.
