GO WILD! PANDAS is a cool nonfiction picture book with lots of interesting facts about giant pandas. The book discusses their habitats, cool facts, what they eat, bear relatives, and more. There is also a cool timeline showing what they look like at different life stages, beginning with newborn. Real photographs are presented on each page along with brightly colored backdrops.

What I loved: This is a great nonfiction book for young readers to begin learning all about pandas. The book covers the basics as well information about conservation and how children can help. The photographs help bring the book to life for young readers, and relatively simple sentences of facts make this great for young readers to digest. This would work well for older toddlers/preschoolers and young elementary school aged students. Pandas are super-cuddly but also need our help, and the book does a good job of laying this out in terms that young children will understand. There is also some cool backmatter with parent tips, a game, and a glossary that add to the learning value.

Final verdict: An educational book about giant pandas, GO WILD! PANDAS is a great read for toddlers and young elementary school aged readers to start learning about these cool animals.
