MY FIRST 100 SPACE WORDS is a cute, illustrated collection of space-related words, including planet names, satellites, space junk, and other terms. Each word is accompanied by an illustration that helps to show the term, and they are grouped with related words on page spreads. There is a lot of color throughout, and many of the planets and objects have very cute smiles.
What I loved: There is a wide variety of terms in the book that can spark an early interest in outer space. The illustrations are really adorable and have lots of colors and little smiles that will intrigue young readers. The size of the book is great for small hands, and the board book pages are easy to turn. Most words will be familiar to parents, which is helpful if you have an inquisitive child who wants to understand more.
What left me wanting more: This is most helpful for infants and young toddlers, as there is not a storyline or definitions/additional information, which would be desired by older/curious children.
