The book itself is short, but it features some scenes around the home made out of simple shapes and then asks baby to find circles, rectangles, squares, and triangles. Each image is full of bright colors and tons of the shape which they are asked to find. Even young toddlers can appreciate the simplicity of this book.
What I loved: Of course, the best feature of this educational book is that it can be chewed and cannot be torn (common problems for this age group), but I also love the easy to hold size and weight. Board books can be pretty heavy for small ones, so this is a much easier weight to hold. In terms of learning about shapes, it is a great introduction that will appeal to the youngest audience. There are plenty of things to point out on each page, and children can easily grasp the concept. I also really love that it features a family of color, which is important representation in books.
Final verdict: A delightful book for infants and young toddlers, bright colors, simple concepts, and indestructible nature make this a win for parents and little ones alike.
