A PLACE FOR FISH teaches about different fish and creatures that live in the water and ways that people can start protecting them. For example, "when people stop dumping pet goldfish into local waters, native fish can live and grow".

I love the illustrations and the details of the fish in their environment. I like that it takes two approaches to teaching. One is fun facts about different types of fish, like the hammerhead shark is over ten million years old. Second, the author explains how we can help them survive in their environment, like using a certain metal for fish hooks.

This book is a great educational tool for any child with a curious mind who likes marine life. This book can help children become more aware of their actions and switch their minds to things they can do to help.

Final Verdict: I would recommend this book to children who love fish, learning, and protecting the environment.
