Although the first book in the "Series of Unfortunate Events" was interesting and held my interest throughout, I found the narrator to be highly annoying with his constant interrupting of the story to define words or tell what he would do. I like the narrator of the story to be invisible.
so this book is pretty dope. its starts out with like these three kids who's parants die (*tear*) and they get a bad guardian and they escape from him.its super interesting. and its also kind of sad but its also a mystery!! so if you like mysteries here is your book! its also apart of a series so if you end up liking it you'll get to keep reading it!! make sure you take a look at this popular book!!!

i really did not enjoy this book. it was boring and just horrible. it was a dumb book but the others were pretty good. it is about three children and their parents die. they have a pretty big fortune and the uncle wants to steal it. he makes up these plans to try and steal their fortune. i would have to say that this is one of the books i least enjoyed.
this is the first book in the series i think. everyone reads them and says they are good but i dont so much as like them. but i guess they can be a good series. i might start reading them soon. this first one i have already read. it was about the kids moving in with their uncle after their parents had just died in the accident. it was ok but i dodnt like ti too much.
Well the title of my review should just let all of you know that I didn't like this book. It was just really boring. I dunno maybe it's because I grew out of the "magical" book phase well before the 3rd Harry Potter book. I think that if your below ten these books would maybe tickle your fancy. However anyone older should deffinatly look into a different series.
A series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning is a great book about three children who lost their parents in a fire at a young age. They are trying to find a home that suits them and a place where they are loved. There is an evil man they have to stay with named Count Olaf. He follows the Baudelaire children from home to home to try to steal the Baudelaire fortune. Even though the book is quite depressing,it has many exciting twists and turns that make you wanna keep reading!
