In the final book of the series, Harry along with Ron and Hermione, are on a quest to find the missing horcruxes. Except that many horrible things are happening at Hogwarts and the whole magic world, the death eaters have taken over the ministry of magic and getting rid of all muggle born wizards.
Soon Harry realizes that he will have to face Voldemort once again. J.K Rowling takes us through many adventures that will eventually lead to Harry fufilling his destiny.
Will Harry be able to defeat Voldemort once and for all?
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is the beginning of the end. This book is very intense. There is a war going on between Voldemort and other wizards. Some wizards are on the evil Voldemort’s side and others are on the good wizards side. One of the things I like about this book is that it shows that you can never do something on your own. Harry and his friends, Hermione and Ron, go on a secret adventure. They are collecting objects that are “possessed” by Voldemort. The reason? They are trying to defeat him. It’s the only way they can get rid of him for good. I like these parts because although Harry is not fighting with Voldemort yet, it is quite interesting and I’m always wondering what will happen next. There are many problems along the way that make it more uplifting and interesting. They have to be in hiding for sometime. Death Eaters have been searching for them for a while. They’ve been close to being caught a few times. One day they were caught. Hermione acted quickly and used a spell on Harry to make his face puff up so no one would recognize him. Will the Death Eaters Recognize him? Will Harry and his friends be taken away. Will Harry be able to defeat Voldemort? Will it be the end of the war against Voldemort or the end of Harry? There are many reasons why I love this book. I will definitely read it again. It’s intense, adventurous but also you learn that friends and family play a big roll in your life. If you have no friends and family to support you, what’s worth fighting for?
This book is so good. It's very well written. Intense and touching.
Riddles, creatures that suck away souls, missions for destroying possibly the world's most evil wizard: It has it all. The soaring finale of the Harry Potter series is enough to make readers want more even though it has a satisfying ending, just like eating a whole bunch of your favorite food and then stopping to take a nap.
Harry and his friends decide to skip their last year of school to go and try to make sense of every riddle that their beloved headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, left behind. At the same time, evil is sweeping over the world as Voldemort is coming back into power. With noone to trust and having their trust being shaken in things they thought were truths, the friendship and loyalty of the friends are put under a grueling test as they go through disastrous weddings and battles with evil. Finally, the answer to "what will happen to Harry?" is revealed in the amazingly detailed last book in the series.
There isn't much more to say, but to readers that didn't read the book yet, try to reread every book before and pick out all the details. It's going to make you love the book even more. ;)
Unlike the other harry potters, this book had so much more action. In the other books you would have one peice of massive action in an entire book. WQith this one though, it has a lot of action in every chapter.
It was the best harry potter book in my opinion and i'm extremely sad that it's the last. But i was a bit disappointed with the way it ended. so was my friend.
Anyway you have to read this book, if you loved the others then you're garrenteed to love this one!!
I know i did.
i thought it was awesome it tied everything together and the adventure that Harry went through keeped me on the edge of my seat. The only thing in my opinion that I didnt like was at the end it didnt tell you what everyone did, job wise i mean, but everything else was great.
Rowling has done it again! In this finale to the Harry Potter Series, Harry goes on several adventures, including the quest to find out about his parents, kill all the Horcruxes, and lastly, defend Hogwarts and defeat Voldemort himself when he is purely human!
This book shows exactly how much better Rowling has gotten at smoke and Mirrors; no one could've forseen these plot twists and turns, and if you need proof that Rowling has gotten better, go back and read Book 1 again!
Rowling truely does a magnificent way of ending the series with a bang, but she still leaves a couple strung hanging; whether or not it is to start a new novel as either a prequel or sequel, or just to keep readers guessing we'll never really know! Read this stunning sequel today!
the book harry potter and the chamber of secrets was an excelent read for me and and my girlfriend. I liked the fact that in the beginning of the book that it dosent stray to far from how the first one left off and starts up pretty much the same at his uncles and auts house with his half wit cousin. I also like d the fact that in the book the action and drama and the scene of a wizard in a wizard school picture all stayed the same and never left unless there was another point of view, the action in the book was really good it was all through out the book and not just in one area they give a good description of what all enimies and friends and creatures look like i also like that at then end of the book they didnt try to over power the ending with some type of farfetcheed idea the kept it smooth
This book was magnificent. It completely exceeded my expectations. And now I am trying to find the right words to explain why I loved this book so much. I think that for every book there are going to be people who hate it, and those who love it. And with each and every Harry Potter book, I was in the category of people who loved it. Why?.. you ask...
For me and my personality, and my own imagination this book is perfect. I'm not saying its the perfect book for everybody, but for me, it is. From my point of view this is the ultimate book. It has great writing and amazing characters. It focuses on magic and fantastical beasts but it also has a great deal about a coming of age story. There is romance and adventure, laughter and heartbreak, and so many other plot lines and ideas mixed in. This book is one of a few where when I read it, I can actually tune out the rest of the world. I am not aware of me actually reading a book turning the pages, I am aware of what is going on in the story.
This is the type of book that I actually get excited about rereading. Just the thought and the reassurance that there is a book of this caliber out there waiting to be read over and over again makes me feel warm and fuzzy. This book is great... and for the people who say that is was horrible and J.K. Rowling was just trying to lengthen the plot, I just don't agree. I am not saying your wrong. All I am saying is that for me there is not one point in the book where I feel bored or that the book is moving too slow. That is why this is such a masterpiece. Because the mark of the great book is the amount of people that really love it the way I do. There will always be people who don't. But this book manages to take so many readers away from reality into the awesome life of Harry Potter that it instantly deserves to become one of the greats.
I am glad that this book exists for the sole fact that it is there for me when I need a good book to read. It doesn't get old, it never bores, and every time I read it there is something new I didn't catch before. If you haven't read this book I suggest you do because if there is even the slightest chance that you might be one of the thousands of people who love this book the way I do... you deserve to read this story for yourself.
