A runaway pumpkin rolls down the hill making a thumpety, bumpety, bumpin' sound. As it makes its way around the farm, each family member imagines the pumpkin as a favorite pumpkin treat: pie, bread or soup. They stop the pumpkin, roll it into the house and enjoy a pumpkin feast.
Wonderful illustrations by S.D. Schindler and a fun rhyme make this a great fall read for young children.
