BASEBALL BABY is a delightful board book about baseball. The book begins with heading to the park to play baseball with the family. They move into stretches, then practicing, before playing the game. The main character plays outfield then heads up to hit the ball before running the bases. The book ends with him being tucked into bed with his lucky baseball hat.

What I loved: This was a delightful book about baseball perfect for older infants and young toddlers. The full page illustrations feature lots of bright colors and a delightful family playing baseball together. The text rhymes, which is great for young ears to enjoy listening to and rolls off the tongue so smoothly. The vibes of the game do come across through the story with mentions of the strikes when at bat and trying to catch the ball in the outfield. This is a light introduction to baseball, which can be enjoyed whether a sports enthusiast or not.

Final verdict: A delightful book of rhyming text, family fun, and lovely illustrations, BASEBALL BABY is a charming board book to share with infants and young toddlers.
