NEW SHOES, RED SHOES is a cute and simple book about shoes. The illustrations feature a young boy going out with his mother to find some new shoes and observing all the different footwear they see around town. The book features some light rhymes and a definite emphasis on shoes.
What I loved: The words are fairly repetitive, which is great for young children and those who are learning to read. The font is nice and clear and easily legible. The updated illustrations are enjoyable with a boy going shopping for some cool new shoes. The simplicity of the book will work for young readers who enjoy repetition.

I want to give thanks to Dr Ogaga for bringing back my ex husband. No one could have ever made me believe that the letter I’m about to write would actually one day be written. I was the world’s biggest skeptic.
