EENIE MEENIE HALLOWEENIE is a cute, rhyming picture book about creativity and Halloween costumes. A young girl uses her stuffed animals for inspiration as she sets out to make her Halloween costume. She thinks of using her fuzzy coat with some paper ears to be a bear, a laundry basket on her back to be a turtle, and more. Her final costume brings it all together in a delightful conclusion.

What I loved: The book is full of bright and colorful illustrations with cute costume ideas. The picture book is very creative, showing the many costumes you can create with simple supplies. The text manages to rhyme all the way through too, which is delightful both to read and to hear aloud. Children will love the cute and simple storyline, joy of Halloween costumes, and lovely illustrations that bring it all to life.

Final verdict: Brightly colored and full of Halloween spirit, EENIE MEENIE HALLOWEENIE is clever book of costume creativity that will delight young readers.
