I'm a huge fan of graphic novels and this series is one that is sure to appeal to those who love an engaging tale set in outer space. I recommend readers start with the first book in the series to read how Cleopatra is transported to the future and also to read about her former friend Gozi, who plays an important part in this book.

In this book, Cleopatra and her friends are in hiding after a death at Yasiro Academy. They set out to find who is a spy that might have been behind the death. There's more fighting, arguing, and a huge reveal behind a former friend.

I really loved the idea of a teen Cleopatra being set to a futurist world where cats are in charge and an academy is based on an Egyptian world. Cleopatra is spunky, impulsive, but truly loves her friends and those around her. She still bristles at the thought that she's supposed to be their 'Savior', but when push comes to shove, she rises to the occasion. I feel readers are sure to relate with her struggle with school subjects like algebra, reading, while she excels at combat training. She questions her purpose and authority figures, which include cats.

One huge plus has to be the villain in this series. Readers see how he went from being a friend of Cleopatra's back in their own time to someone who is out to destroy her and her new world. Gozi is fleshed out and not the cardboard stereotypical arch villain. Kuddos for that!

Action-packed adventure set in a futurist world where a teen Cleopatra sets out to find a spy that is behind a death at the Yasiro Academy. Readers are sure to be engaged with her exploits through space.
Good Points
1. Action-packed fantasy where a young teen Cleopatra is transported to the future
