On this field trip, they learn more about dragons. For example, they learn that a whelp is a baby dragon. It isn't long before they realize that they aren't the only students visiting Dragon Haven. Students with normal magic or there too and their presence may cause problems. Especially when Andres meets ordinary Flyers who can go up and down and Nory meets a new friend named Mitali.
I really like that Andres has his own self-discovery in DRAGON OVERNIGHT. I also enjoyed watching Nory and Mitali interact. Mitali can't cross animals when she transforms like Nory can, but they don't let their differences come between them. The adventures were fun and exciting which made for an entertaining story. The Upside-Down magic adds a tad of silliness and humor that made me laugh.
Final Verdict: I would recommend this to fans of magic, dragons, self-discovery, and friendship.
