"There was an old mermaid who swallowed a shark. I don't know why she swallowed the shark, but it left no mark."

THERE WAS AN OLD MERMAID WHO SWALLOWED A SHARK is a humorous read where an old mermaid swallows all types of sea creatures. It starts with a shark and then ends with a clam.

The story reads like a song and flows perfectly with its rhymes. The rhymes are clever and it was all well put together. I also love how at the end it has facts about the sea creatures included in the story. There's even a search and find activity in the back.

Final Verdict: This book gives you more than just a story and I would recommend it to children who like sea creatures, animals, funny stories, and activities.
