There's lots of middle school type drama even though Wonder Woman is in high school. There are problems with friends, frenemies, and with her transition from Paradise Island.
My only objections are that I'm a little confused about why she had to have the nickname of "Wondy"-- wouldn't she have just asked to be called Diana Prince? Also, Steve Trevor also shows up as a rather geeky guy working in his family's restaurant. While this is a nice touch, how could she then meet him on her island after his plane crash lands? Still, with any retelling of a canonical story, there is wiggle room for change.
There seems to be a renewed interest in all things super hero, due to a lot of movies that have come out lately, so this will definitely be a popular book!
