DEEP and DARK and DANGEROUS is a great mystery gost story in my opinion. It talks about a thirteen year old girl named Ali that finds a picture that has her mom, aunt and another person that was torn off. And then her mom gets mad when she asks about the person. Ali wanted to go to the camp and so did her dad but her mom was against it. Then when she came home and saw her aunt she was really happy.

            Then later in the story her aunt takes her to the river house. The whole time they were at the river house Ali is trying to figure out who the person was. Every time she got close her little cousin named sissy kept getting in the way. Ali feels she gets blamed for everything that sissy does.
