                             Ceasing of the Temples Tranquility

Enter the peaceful palace of the High Jedi Council, on the sprawling planet of Coruscant. However, not much can be said of its safety, and the Temple ceases to be tranquil. There has been a great disturbance in the force&

Meanwhile, the Jedi Council was called up for a meeting in the Council Chambers. The Council was a serene place and there were only 15 seats, all arranged to form a circle. Upon meeting, Obi-Wan Kenobi, aged 13, was standing in front of the seat beside his former master, Qui-Gon Jinn. The whole council was staring at his petrified self.

Jedi master Mace Windus sharp glare cut him like ice. We thank you for coming, he said in his dignified way. Well, to be frank, this event as shaken us. Master Yoda rose before dawn to meditate, as in his custom. He went to the hall of a thousand fountains, again as his custom. Before reaching the sky bridge he sensed a surge in the dark side of the force. He hesitated, listening to the force, and in that heartbeat a device planted underneath the sky bridge exploded. The intention was to kill Master Yoda. Luckily he was not so easily fooled.

Mace Windu paused for a moment. A swift shudder seemed to run through the council chambers.

I had heard of the misfortune, Obi-Wan added.

Master Ki-Adi-Mundi turned his look from Mace Windu to Obi-Wan and said, Obi-Wan, we are in great need of your help. This tragedy has befallen us all. Its very ironic, is it not?

Obi-Wan explained, Im sorry master Mundi, I cannot do this. Of course, disobeying a Jedi masters orders would result to immediate expulsion out of the Council and the order, but what choice did he have after what he did?
