This book in the Sweet valley Twins series takes on an old stereotype about spooky houses. The owner looks a little like a witch and so of course the teenager living there must also look like one.
The Wakefield twins keep hearing their new classmate Nora is a witch and they get to know her despite all the rumors. Naturally Elizabeth takes Nora's side, while Jessica helps the unicorns (her popular group) terrorize the poor girl until she realizes she's not such a bad person after all.
Like all the Sweet valley books, they showcase a character having a problem and then never refer to that person again! It's like they fall off the radar if Elizabeth doesn't need to step in and offer help! Still it's a fun read for Halloween or anytime you want a spooky story.
