Halibut is a very shy guy and he makes himself suits for every occassion in order to blend into the background. He has a flowered suit that he wears to the park and a suit that looks like shelves of books for when he goes to the library. No one notices him at all.
That is...until Halibut is invited to a party at the palace. He makes the most glittery suit imaginable, thinking that he will be sure to blend in. But no one told him it was a garden party!
Everyone loves Halibut's suit and he finds himself the center of attention. Soon, he is making suits for everyone and has found that he's now the most popular guy in town.
The illustrations are wonderfully cute and readers will have fun (think Where's Waldo, but with much more charm) picking Halibut out of each of the scenes.
I highly recommend this book to children of all ages (including adults!).
