Happy Friday, YABCers! We have an extra treat for you today: not only are we revealing a cover, but we’re also revealing the full jacket!

Today we’re super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for THE GEEK’S GUIDE TO UNREQUITED LOVE by Sarvenaz Tash, releasing June 14, 2016 from Simon & Schuster BFYR. Before we get to the cover, here’s a note from Sarvenaz:

It’s San Diego Comic-Con time and, if you’re anything like me…you might be insanely jealous that you can’t be there. That being said, I am so delighted I get to reveal the jacket and cover for The Geek’s Guide to Unrequited Love, my upcoming Comic Con rom-com!

This book was inspired by my extreme nerdiness and my love of John Hughes movies. It was pitched as Pretty in Pink goes to Comic Con (in this case, New York Comic Con) and it was obscenely fun to write. I really can’t wait to share the story with you. But, in the meantime, I am so, so thrilled to share the amazing cover art which was conceived and designed by the amazing Lucy Ruth Cummins (who is responsible for some of my very favorite covers of all time like To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, and Since You’ve Been Gone).

About the Book

Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy…

Archie and Veronica…

Althena and Noth…

…Graham and Roxy?

Graham met his best friend, Roxy, when he moved into her neighborhood eight years ago, and she asked him which Hogwarts house he’d be sorted into. Graham has been in love with her ever since.

But now they’re sixteen, still neighbors, still best friends. And Graham and Roxy share more than ever—moving on from their Harry Potter obsession to a serious love of comic books.

When Graham learns that the creator of their favorite comic, The Althena Chronicles, is making a rare appearance at this year’s New York Comic Con, he knows he must score tickets. And the event inspires Graham to come up with the perfect plan to tell Roxy how he really feels about her. He’s got three days to woo his best friend at the coolest, kookiest con full of superheroes and supervillains. But no one at a comic book convention is who they appear to be…even Roxy. And Graham is starting to realize fictional love stories are way less complicated than real-life ones.
