It’s live!! Cover Reveal: Look Both Ways by Alison Cherry + Giveaway (US/Canada)

Happy Thursday, YABC!

Today we’re super excited to celebrate the cover reveal for LOOK BOTH WAYS by Alison Cherry, releasing June 14, 2016 from Delacorte. Before we get to the cover, here’s a note from Alison:

Hi, YABC readers! I’m so excited to show you the stunning cover for my new book, LOOK BOTH WAYS! For a long time, I’ve wanted to write about the messy, nebulous line that divides obsessive platonic friendship and romance between girls, and I’ve finally gotten to do so in this book. This cover straddles that line perfectly, and I’m so grateful to Angela Carlino and the fabulous art department at Delacorte for coming up with such a perfect visual representation of Brooklyn and Zoe. (Plus, I really want that swan shirt Zoe’s wearing… it’s always a bit disconcerting when your characters have better fashion sense than you do.) Looking forward to next summer, when I can take you all on a journey inside the insane world of summer theater!

About the Book

A summer away from the city is the beginning of everything for Brooklyn Shepard. Her theater apprenticeship at Allerdale is a chance to prove that she can carve out a niche all her own, surrounded by people who don’t know anything about her and her family of superstar performers.

Brooklyn immediately hits it off with her roommate, Zoe, and soon their friendship turns into something more. Brooklyn wants to see herself as someone who’s open to everything and everyone, but as her feelings for Zoe intensify, so do her doubts. She’s happier than she’s ever been—but is it because of her new relationship? Or is it because she’s finally discovering who she wants to be?

Thoughtful, funny, and steeped in the wild drama of growing up, Alison Cherry’s new novel is the story of a girl hoping she’s found a place to belong… only to discover that neither talent nor love is as straightforward as she thinks.

AHHH! I am SO excited because there are two girls on the cover and the blurb makes it clear they’re more than just friends and YESSS.

The cover is adorable, and the story sounds like one that I could get into!

  3. If this content was lengthy enough, it would look more attracting. The rest are all good, so is the topic. For ladies and gents everywhere check out this Shearling jackets for men and women. This can be one of the stylish outfits you’ll ever find and it’s available at Angeljackets.

For some reason, the font of the title on the cover reminds me of Burn for Burn by Jenny Han and Siobhan Vivian… But the cover is really nice, and has a fun feel to it! The synopsis sounds interesting, and I can’t wait to read the book!

The cover of this book makes me smile just looking at it. It looks fun and summery, two things I need more of as the dreaded days of “back to school” are upon us. 😉 The synopsis is also very interesting. As an actor myself I feel that I would identify with Brooklyn, and her story sounds beautiful.

The cover isn’t anything special to me, it looks like a lot of other YA books. But I do like the synopsis, and I like that this is a different kind of romance.
