In this sweet story, a young animal wants to express just how much they love their parent, so they look for increasingly extravagant ways of doing so. From climbing the coldest mountain to wrestling a crocodile, they're determined to demonstrate the amount of love they have to give. But could there be a simpler—and even more special—way to show their love? From the bestselling team of author Karl Newson and illustrator Duncan Beedie.

In this story, a young animal is trying to tell their parents how much they love them. They come up with some over-the-top examples like how they would wrestle a crocodile to show how much they love them. In the end, they learn the lesson that showing love can be a simple thing.
What I Liked: The illustrations are adorable and kept me wanting to turn the page to see what happens next. The text is rhyming which made it a fun read-aloud.
What Left Me Wanting More: I think other books touch on the subject of showing a family member how much you love them. Though it's not a unique concept the author and illustrator use humor to make their story stand out.
I Really, Really Love You So is a fun rhythmic read that children of all ages will be sure to love.
