One day while getting ready to head to school, a little girl announces to her mom that today is the day she will find a best friend. To her, there's a big difference between a friend and a BEST friend. A friend will do what they need to for you, but a best friend will go the extra mile. They'll share their favorite things with you and give you the better option, like the newest crayon in the box. Through thick and thin, they'll have your back.

HOW TO SPOT A BEST FRIEND is an adorable story for school-aged children who are excited about meeting new people. It shows children how to tell the difference between a normal friend and a best friend which is a cute concept. The illustrations are composed of soft colors and the art style gives off happy vibes. My little girl is so excited to return to her school friends after reading this book and I love seeing the smile on her face when we read it.

Final Verdict: I would recommend this to children aged four and up who are starting school to encourage them about the friendships they can develop. This book is helpful to motivate children who might still have some apprehension about starting a new school. It gives them something to look forward to and the tools for finding their ride or die.
