What I Liked: This simple story of a young child getting ready to go outside and play on a cooler day is a very relatable everyday activity. The hat keeps being taken off and the child is helped to put it back on. As a parent, this happened many times. The soft colors keep the event light-hearted and sweet and reminiscent of the small tasks that our sweet little ones one day won’t need help with. In the story, an older sibling is helping out making this a very gentle story that a young toddler can relate to. The sturdy cover and thicker pages are perfect for a newly independent child to hold and turn the pages.
