This a again another wonderful Harry Potter book. People that would enjoy this book are the ones that like fantacy adventuare, and magic. This is from the point of you of a strong male character. This book shows more of how Harry , Hermoine and Ron grew up and there defiiently not the little kids anymore. This books gives a very suprised ending conserning Dumbledore and Snape that you wouldnt think of ever happening.

WOW! It took me a matter of about 6 hours to read this book, it was amazing. I must admit, the style seemed very different from the previous books, and at the end you are kind of like "THE STORY ISN"T FINISHED!" but that's the point. With book 6 you realize that all of the books are really one very long story.

I don't think younger children would really understand this book, and I love the fact that nothing is explained for new readers (cause new readers should start with the first book) and that the story is so much more complex. There is a LOT of (very funny) romance in this book between an awful lot of characters. I cannot WAIT for book 7!

this book is about Harry's 6th year at Hogwarts. This book includes shocking news. In this book Harry find an old book with the name the half-blood prince in it. it contains cheats and shortcuts so Harry gets good grades. Harry goes on a quest to find parts of Tom Riddles's soul. The one 'they' suspect turns out to be a fake. When they get back to Hogwarts they have to fight. I don't want to tell the shocking ending but if you like reading about harry in love, this is a book for you.

This book is about Harry's sixth yea at Howgwarts school of witch craft and wizardy the advenutres that await him. Professor Dumbldore requests that harry take priavet lessons with him about lord voldermorts childhood so as to gain a better understanding of the preent day lord voldermort and Snape gets the post as the dark arts teacher. Meanwhile Harry discovers a friend the half blood prince whom harry befriends in an old potions book. I dont want to ruin it for anyone so I won't say anything more about what happens except expect surprises shocks and sadness! This harry potter ook is different formm it's predesscessors in that it loses some of its innocence. Ms.Rowling makes it clear that as each book comes out Harry gets older and his world becomes more complicated. This book is fantastic!

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J. K. Rowling is a very interesting book. After Harry unexpectedly gets to take 6th year Potions and doesn't have the book for the class, he starts taking orders from one he borrows from school. Then things take a turn for the worse. First he learns dark spells from the book and he casts them on other students. Then someone Harry is very close to is killed.

If you liked the other five Harry Potter books, you will probably like this one, too.

The book moved rather on the slow side. Nothing much seemed to aspire through out the whole book. To me it seemed rather on the bland side. I personal only read it for the stake of the series. The next one will be better. The writing seems to have decayed somewhat as far as the quality.

Harry has finally got the ministry on his side, but it doesn't mean things are getting normal(well, as normal as things could possibly get when you can do magic and travel through fire). Harry, though dosen't have any trouble getting through potions though because of a new teacher, and an old schoolbook that used to belong to someone who called themself "The Half-Blood Prince"! But it is getting even better than ever, and sadder because of the death of OOOOOPPS. Sorry there can't give it away so I guess you'll have to read it to find out.

of course, im partial, i love harry potter. but i think that it is by far the best book ive read in some time, closely riveled by eldest(inheratince triolgy) of course, this is about the half blood price, so on we go. this book is not slow at all to start out with, for you readers that have some difficulty with slow beginings. it makes you question many things that you have always thought to be set in stone, or at least true(because if dumbledore trusts it you should to, right?). it leads you through another year at hogwarts, with mysteries practicly around every corner(even through a corrider several(ok many)times) and surprises as well. with a new minister of magic, things are a little unsteady in the ministry of magic. and, of course, a most tragic demise of a great character at the end, which made me cry for almost an hour straight. of course, its also very infuriatingly nieve of this person as well, and the person who did it?!??? hmmm how to say this...he is by far the worst thing you can possibly think of. (with the exeption of you-know-who...)However, it does leave some very intresting questions at the end, allowing plenty of time for your mind to wander. ...very intresting overall, i would give it a 8 out of 5 if i could.

ages: probably 7-150, nearly any age.
