In Goose Goes to School, Sophie is getting ready to head off to her first day of school. She wishes Goose could come with her but her mom says he can't. Sophie is a little nervous about starting school and making new friends but she is so happy when Goose shows up. All the children love playing with Sophie and Goose, and Sophie is excited to have new friends.

This is a cute story that would be perfect for the first days in preschool. In a subtle way, it's about having some confidence and making new friends. The illustrations are so cute and the simple text on each page makes it easy for young readers to follow along with.
