The author had a perfectly good out with an admittedly sappy, cheesy ending, but she must be jonesing for some cash because she is wringing this series out. By the 26th book it is understandable to be stretching in order to keep the story going, but bringing the dead back is going a little far. The daddy drama works because it fits in the story, but the author will have to come up with something ingenious to make up for this flop in storyline.
Of course she will have time to do so, because hooking me for 25 books before this mistake was a very good marketing ploy. And the there's a sequel series! Pascal's lucky I'm an obsessive reader or I would probably just dump this whole Fearless series plus its companion books.
