Soulmated was a captivating novel of finding your soulmate and defying expectations.

Liam Whelen is an Irish royal empath looking for his soulmate. This union could grant the couple legendary powers. Liam thinks Lakshimi Kapadia might be the one and he's determined to win her heart.

I liked the plot of the story and the fact that Liam and Lakshimi are both trying to please their parents by doing what is expected of them, but are willing to defy them for love. I loved the exposure of Lakshimi's and Liam's culture.

The characters were great. Lakshimi and Liam really seem perfect for each other. I liked Shiney's outspokenness and Jack being like an older brother to Lakshimi.

Soulmated was an absorbing novel with romance and diversity that would be enjoyable for fans of YA romance!
