In THE FAERIE WAR, Violet wakes up with the reptiscilla and can’t remember a thing. When she drank the Forget Me potion, I was screaming why? But I loved how it was like seeing everything through new eyes. Rachel Morgan made the third book just as interesting as the first, which isn’t an easy feat.

All Violet knows now is the Destruction that Draven creates. He captures Guardians and has learned how to control them. But Violet doesn’t even remember what a Guardian is or what they can do. What she can do.

THE FAERIE WAR switches POV in the beginning to Ryn and gives us insight to what he’s doing while Violet is memoryless. He’s on a secret mission to retrieve the only weapon that can destroy Draven and with it comes a prophesy. It’s everything they need to stop the destruction.

My heart dropped for Ryn when he finally found the love of his life and Violet doesn’t even recognize him. But Rachel Morgan manages to have the reader fall for Ryn all over again, just as Violet attempts to.

Final Verdict: I loved Rachel Morgan’s alluring writing that had me hanging off each word. So much so that I had to finish this in one day after the second one. Fans of Sarah J. Mass will love this series that’s full of love, courage, betrayal, and an epic battle.
