This book is disturbing at times, but I guess I'm just freaky enough to keep reading at a speeding pace. It was a new plot, I will say that. I loved Jack, really, he was such a great character. But Conner, he I could have done without. Marbury was such a scary place, but that was my favorite place to be in this novel!
