Siddalee Walker is searching for herself as she escapes from
her life and travels to Seattle. An interview with the New York Times twists
the truth which causes Siddalees mother, Viviane Joan Abbott, to be outraged
at her. When Sidda left for Seattle, Vivi thought it was because of her,
however, Sidda also cancels her wedding to her love Connor. Now Vivi and her three close friends, also known
as the Ya-Yas, help Sidda get back on her feet as they send her the Book of
Divine Secrets composed of their most precious memories.

Together
the four of us read the Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood and each
one of us loved the book. The variety in
characters and events made every part relatable to at least one of us. There were times when we laughed, cried, and
got hot-headed. There was never a dull
moment with all the outrageous things that the Ya-Yas did.

We recommend
this book to teenage girls who are older than 14 because there is some graphic
scenes, violence, and intense moments. We
figured girls would like this book a lot more than guys because the main
characters are all girls. The story is
also told from a girls point of view and tells about a girls life. You should especially read this book if you
enjoy outrageous stories and secrets.
