As all of Kevin Brooks novels this does not end as happily ever after- it just cuts a chuck of a person life into a novel. It can get a bit boring... well it does but the book was ok. the plot was not faboulous or out of the ordinary...to me it was just a book. The road of the Dead is about a brother doing things to retrieve his sisters body, after she had been raped and left to die in a unforgiving town in England.
