Because her guidance counselor insists that she needs more extracurriculars to plump her college resume, Norah decides to start a book club in the local bookstore.
Her best friends as well as some other mis-matched high school students join her group. Norah finds herself attracted to James, one of her members. The book then loses focus on literature and instead follows Norah as she uses tips from romance novels to snare James.
I have to say, I was very dissapointed in this book. Firstly, it was shallow and pointless and I was not able to relate to the characters.
If you really are in need of a good romantic comedy, I suggest you read Ripped at the Seams, a much better book in the series.
