this book was an interesting take on what love could be if everyone was sweet and humble and honest. i thought it wasn't too realistic but then again young love with that much intensity doesn't normally exist. i found it to be an book for the typical optimist who although doesn't have everything in the world going for him or her, has the idea that true does exist and with patience and a good heart love can be found.

A Walk to Remember truly lives up to it's name. It shows what can really happen when true love gets ahold of two very different. Throughout the book I was pulling for the character's romance. It made me cry, but also made me think. "If I were to have a life changing illness, what would I do? How would I want people to treat me?" It opeaned my eyes to a whole new meaning of life.

This is such a touching love story. A girl named Jamie who is a very unusual person because she is extremely religious and kind. Because of these characteristics people often feel awkward around her and also because she has the habit of carrying a Bible with her at all times. Another boy named Landon who unwillingly becomes the lead in a play and must act with her unwittingly falls in love with her.
Unfortunately for him he doesn't know a horrible secret that Jamie is keeping from him. At the end this book is almost guaranteed to make you cry. Nevertheless it is a touching story.

This is based on the movie, "A walk to remeber."
The movie is much better,I Really like the fact that she was a loser and that was really how i conceted with this book.She didn't understand why such a popular guy like this one liked her.At first he broke his leg so he when to her to ask for help on his math so he wouldn't get kicked off the team.They get really close and they date he turns on her for his freinds.
