" A novel idea", I liked it a whole lot. It combined my two favorite things, books and boys.
Norah Bloom thrives on her dream of going to college, but when her guidence conselur, Ms. Bliss ( who looks like a victoria secret model)tells her that colleges like extracurriculars, and she doesn't have any, Norah decides to start a book club at the book nook. When the big day comes ( the first day of book club) she meets James. She doesn't really notice him that much until one night at a club, when they have their first one-on-one conversation. She then develops a crush. Then after an almost kiss, Norah decides to take advice from her secret romance novel stash, namely a book called " To Catch a Duke". She drops forged love notes, sends herself flowers, and even dates his best friend, all to get to James. Does her scheming work or does it backfire? Read it and find out I know I liked it!
I have to agree 100% with the other reviewer, Stephenie, because what she states is true. I knew this book wasn't going to be about books, but the depth of the novel I found lacking. It could've been more involved, and the characters could have shown a greater development. And most importantly, the book matter discussed could've been most definitely better.
I didn't regret reading this book, but I did feel it was a slight waste of time on my part. Most novels like these tend to be a little more, but I was left disappointed.
