QUEENS picks up right where PAWNS left off . The message Maeve received from her husband in the first book shifts everything they've ever believed into a new direction in the second one. Also, Maeve and Kelia's relationship is developing as well as Maeve's powers as a wielder.

All of the main characters are present in this one and they all walk their own paths. There's Vaxi, Sen, and Mizar who visit the king. Then, Elzor and Elzaria who want to take over everything. Finally, Davin, Maeve, Nyla, and Kelia who are trying to prepare the Ixtrayu for the evil that's coming their way.

I loved that you can see each character continuing to grow and I love the action and passion that lingers with each page. I could see this series becoming a movie and would recommend it to any fan of science fiction and fantasy. This is a series you won't want to miss and I can't wait for the third installment!
