What I Liked: I was so excited to find a book written for Preschool children about the Water Cycle. I love the bright inviting colors on the cover and within the book. Using drip as the example, the book takes us on a journey through a simplified version of the water cycle. The board book and die-cut picture of Drip is perfect for little hands to turn the pages and find out that drip turns into a cloud before raining to make a garden grow.
Final Verdict: By simplifying the water cycle there is of course information left out such as the fact drip could have evaporated before ending up in the sea. The text is understandable for the Preschool age group so overall the information is informative and well done. With repeated reading, it will give young children an excellent foundation for understanding the more complex water cycle when they are older.
