Learning experience

This is a good book if you like some smart-humor. There are lots of different typed of figurative language used in unsusual ways. There are a lot of expressions used to mean something that they don't usually mean. It's a pretty funny book. This is a good book to teach kids...

Give this book a chance!

When I first picked up this book and read the back, it seemed like it would just be a boring story where nothing ever happened. Don't make this mistake and not read this book! This was a relly great story. Seinbeck made it so exciting and emotional, and...

Fun

There were a lot of different elements that made the story exciting and meaningful at the same time. I liked how Stewart Lewis didn't just keep writing about one thing and nothing else ever happens, like in some books. I liked all of the different types of people in this...

Good and meaningful

I think that the author did a good job of showing Melinda’s feelings. Showing Melinda’s feelings helped give the book something to think about. I also think she made the book better by using different things to support what she was writing. I don’t think that the author could have...

Good

I think it could have been better. There wasn't much meaning in it. It was pretty good, but not the best book ever. Also, I didn't really like how the author made it into a love story. It made the book just another romance with scary things in it. I...

Not Dead or Alive

Wintergirls was a very good and meaningful book. It was hard to put down. There was a lot of meaning in Wintergirls, and it changed the way I look at things. It changed the way I look at “being thin”, and it also changed the way I see media; all...

Good Book

This was a great book. I didn’t want to put it down. It was very exciting, and I always wanted to know what would happen next. I would recommend this book to older kids who like unusual events, and stories that feel real.
