This is a must read if you are a diehard patriot fan and cant seem to get enough information on them. Never Give Up by Tedy Bruschi is an influential book about triumph over a life threatening injury. This book gives you the inside information of what you dont hear about behind the scenes in the locker room and how professionals get ready for championship games. The beginning of the book starts with an introduction of from the NFL m.v.p Tom Brady on his friend and teammate Tedy. If you dont already know Tedy Bruschi suffered a blood clot, which resulted in a stroke. Not knowing if he would ever survive rather than just play football was a very traumatizing experience (as said in the book). I got this book for Christmas when I found out that it was actually written by Tedy Bruschi about himself I at first doubted the book because of the fact I thought a football player couldnt write an intelligent and deep book about his life. Reading this proved me wrong the descriptive writing he used when he referred to the in game situations made me feel like I was actually in the game. I never knew how much preparation was needed to go into a game, and he even described his family reactions good and bad when he won the super bowl and suffered his stroke. This is a book on triumph and tragedy throughout the book and a must read for all sports fans.
