Four Dead Queens (Astrid Scholte)

Author: Astrid Scholte

Expected publication: February 26th, 2019

 Publisher: Putnam Books

A divided nation. Four Queens. A ruthless pickpocket. A noble messenger. And the murders that unite them.

Get in quick, get out quicker.

These are the words Keralie Corrington lives by as the preeminent dipper in the Concord, the central area uniting the four quadrants of Quadara. She steals under the guidance of her mentor Mackiel, who runs a black market selling their bounty to buyers desperate for what they can’t get in their own quarter. For in the nation of Quadara, each quarter is strictly divided from the other. Four queens rule together, one from each region:

Toria: the intellectual quarter that values education and ambition
Ludia: the pleasure quarter that values celebration, passion, and entertainment
Archia: the agricultural quarter that values simplicity and nature
Eonia: the futurist quarter that values technology, stoicism and harmonious community

When Keralie intercepts a comm disk coming from the House of Concord, what seems like a standard job goes horribly wrong. Upon watching the comm disks, Keralie sees all four queens murdered in four brutal ways. Hoping that discovering the intended recipient will reveal the culprit – information that is bound to be valuable bartering material with the palace – Keralie teams up with Varin Bollt, the Eonist messenger she stole from, to complete Varin’s original job and see where it takes them.

The Outcast (Alexander Hoffman)

Author: Alexander Hoffman

After what happened in the capital, Estoria is no longer safe for Rowan. He is now a fugitive, wanted for aiding in the murder of his king. His master is dead and everyone close to him thinks that he is too.

With no other choice, Rowan seeks to exile himself to Lauratrea. He faces death without a care as his failures weigh upon him.

But back in Estoria preparations are being made to go to war. Gannon has taken charge of the capital and the country, and he will stop at nothing to extend his reach and start his war for power and dominance.

As the winds of war begin to blow, only two people have the power to stop it. Rowan...and the princess that he believes dead.

Dragon's Awakening (Sean Fletcher)

Author: Sean Fletcher
Expected publication: October 30th, 2017

Kaylee looked at her hands. No, not hands. Claws. She had claws.
“What am I?”
“You’re a freak. An abomination. You never should have existed.”

For Kaylee Richards, starting high school is hard enough. Growing dragon scales and blasting her date with lightning just makes it that much harder. But when the creep pulls a sword on her, what’s a girl to do?

Turns out Kaylee is a dragon-kin, a half dragon/half human with the rare power to summon storms. The problem? She’s attracted the wrong kind of attention: Slayers, an ancient order dedicated to eradicating all dragon-kin. They’re planning something big. Something deadly. And they need Kaylee to do it.

But Kaylee isn’t alone. She has her martial arts-wielding best friend, a bumbling wizard, and his hot, air-headed Protector by her side. Together they’ll try to stop the Slayers before their plans are complete. Or they’ll die trying. But hopefully not.

Ready for a young adult urban fantasy full of magic, wizards, dragon (kins) and romance
