Rockstar Book Tours Blog Tour, Interview & Giveaway: Sanity & Tallulah (Molly Brooks)
Sanity Jones and Tallulah Vega are best friends on Wilnick, the dilapidated space station they call home at the end of the galaxy. So naturally, when gifted scientist Sanity uses her lab skills and energy allowance to create a definitely-illegal-but-impossibly-cute three-headed kitten, she has to show Tallulah. But Princess, Sparkle, Destroyer of Worlds is a bit of a handful, and it isn't long before the kitten escapes to wreak havoc on the space station. The girls will have to turn Wilnick upside down to find her, but not before causing the whole place to evacuate! Can they save their home before it's too late?
Readers will be over the moon for this rollicking space adventure by debut author Molly Brooks.

~ Interview ~
YABC: What gave you the inspiration to write this book?
Buddy cop shows, Star Trek, and Nancy Drew
YABC: Who is your favorite character in the book?
Dr. Vega, the no-nonsense head scientist.
YABC: Which came first, the title or the novel?
The title, since the characters already existed before I came up with the plot in the book.
YABC: What scene in the book are you most proud of, and why?
I’m pleased with the chase scenes because I used to be really bad at drawing people running.
YABC: Thinking way back to the beginning, what’s the most important thing you've learned as a writer from then to now?
Revise your own work as though it was written by a stranger. Get rid of the parts that don’t work—even if you like them, even if you spent a lot of time on them.
YABC: What do you like most about the cover of the book?
The spot gloss on the characters and title. So shiny!
YABC: What’s up next for you?
Sanity & Tallulah #2!
YABC: Which was the most difficult or emotional scene to narrate?
Dr. Vega and Station Director Jones discussing the evacuation.
YABC: Which character gave you the most trouble when writing your latest book?
Horace, Tallulah’s brother.
YABC: Which part of the writing process do you enjoy more: Drafting or Revising?
YABC: What would you say is your superpower?
YABC: Is there an organization or cause that is close to your heart?
Planned Parenthood and the Southern Poverty Law Center
